- Felony murder: Male 93.2%, Female 6.8%.
- Sex related murder: Male 93.6%, Female 6.4%.
- Gang related murder: Male 98.3%, Female 1.7%.
- Drug related murder: Male 95.5%, Female 4.5%.
- Workplace murders: Male 91.3%, Female 8.7%.
- Argument murders: Male 85.6%, Female 14.4%.
- Gun homicide: Male 91.3%, Female 8.7%.
- Multiple victims: Male 93.5%, Female 6.5%.
- Child murder: of those children killed by someone other than their parent, 81% were killed by men.
Not surprised that this post doesn’t have as many notes as it really should. Too many people in denial, or unwillingly to face the truth.
Well, we have to protect men from realizing their own violence, right?
This is why I have a hard time with all the posts on tumblr that are like “omg don’t let tumblr brainwash you into thinking that all women are good! women are just as evil”. Like, yeah, putting women on a moral pedestal isn’t right either, and obviously not all women are good, but pretending like the violence levels are equal between the sexes is simply false. Additionally, pretending like women attack men as often as men attack women is false too. Often it’s men attacking women AND each other.
the whole “but but women are violent too!” bs is a derailment/silencing tactic. and a very contradictory one, because MRAs sure love talking about how women are “weak & stupid”. MRAs think they’re fooling us.
